20th Anniversary Benefit a Huge Success
MPLI, with the help of Brooks Brothers, our many supporters, sponsors, volunteers and friends, threw another great party at Brooks Brothers at the Americana in Manhasset. Approximately 300 attendees gathered on Friday evening, April 12th to celebrate with other members of the growing mentoring community on Long Island. This year was especially significant since it marked MPLI's 20th anniversary helping Long Island youth and we had the added benefit of honoring a very special family, the Foschi's .
MPLI's Benefit is always highlighted by the appearance of a mentor/mentee pair who share their own personal mentoring story with benefit guests. This year we were proud to introduce attendees to Darius Burton and his mentee, Michael Abrahams, both from Baldwin High School.
Special thanks to our wonderful event committee chairperson, Brian Shore, and the entire committee who worked tirelessly with the Foschi family to make this year's celebration so wonderful.
The MPLI Benefit at Brooks Brothers has developed a reputation over the past few years as "the best party in town"; however, it is so much more. With your generous support this event provides the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island with funding essential to our continued ability to fulfill our mission.
We've posted a Facebook Photo Gallery which captures some of the special moments shared by Benefit attendees.
